An important aspect of this project to inurface media was not just the type of screen to go into the arena, but how the solution behind the screen would compliment the entire system from counter sales to updates on the screen. The media players that were chosen to push content to the screen also aligns with the POS system in the arena, allowing for dynamic pricing and content jumps depending on the requirement of each screen, whether they ran just menu items or wanted to switch between menu and advertising.
Over 60 screens were installed throughout the National Ice Centre/Motorpoint Arena. inurface media supplied the hardware, content management system and template design. All the screens installed are full HD commercial panels that are able to run 24/7 and have a higher brightness to ensure the screens are visible in low light and well lit areas. This system allows customers to see in real time food and drink specials, see advertisements of upcoming events, and have an overall enjoyable experience while visiting.
