In order to make The Wellcome Trust a more navigable space, inurface media decided to put screens built into bespoke free standing totems at the lift entrance on every floor of the building. This allowed each employee/visitor to know where in the building they needed to be, and how to get there with ease. There were a total of sixteen totems placed between both lifts and across each level. This ensured consistent wayfinding no matter what area of the office you were in.
At the main reception to The Wellcome Trust, inurface media installed an HD video wall with flat mount brackets to run promotional material and other Wellcome Trust information. This is the first glimpse a visitor gets of the building, and inurface media wanted to be sure the video wall was full HD and high brightness to ensure clear visibility over the entire main entrance.
Working with the marketing department at Wellcome Trust, inurface media created a mapping system to display on the totems for wayfinding, and the marketing department’s content was uploaded to the Content Management System installed by inurface media. Training was provided and control was handed over to Wellcome Trust to update content through the CMS as needed.
