To create an easy check-in experience, inurface media installed 32″ interactive touch screens in the reception room. The screens run with low power consumption as they are on 24/7. In order to avoid the front desk team wandering around showcasing the room to customers, inurface media created software that was able to run a 3D view of the cabins and floor plan on the screen for customers to view. Other interactive features such as flight times, weather, in-room menus, and train information is displayed and easily accessible by touching the screens. Yotel is able to change the content remotely using inurface media’s installed Content Management System.
To change Yotel’s default TV channel, inurface media set up an advantech media player that is distributed across the TV’s in their cabins. The software running is able to pull in music from Yotel’s SoundCloud playlist keeping the default channel consistent with content and music.
All content is managing and scheduled the Content Management System, and is managed directly by Yotel’s in-house team, with back-end support from inurface media.
