As part of The Body Shop’s Christmas promotion Inurface Media has designed and built a 3×3 video wall for the project.

The Christmas campaign is a bespoke, temporary project focussing on the period of Advent, running for a total of 6 weeks we have created a large advent calendar structure in the window with dynamic content each day. An interactive Totem is located on the shop floor where customers can untie a bow on a digital present to win a gift. The gifts range from small stocking fillers to tea for two at The Ritz. When a customer interacts with the Totem the content changes on the screen alerting the main area of Westfield that a customer has won a prize and which prize this is. Once the content interrupt has completed it returns to the appropriate content loop for that day.

The whole project was pre-assembled and tested in the warehouse. With our partners Harlequin, who designed the entire facia and lighting system, the colours were matched between digital and print with all the screens calibrated.  The installation took place across several nights with the whole structure being installed and mounted from floor and ceiling.

The digital panels are NEC’s premium X46 range outputting 700cd to ensure it shines through the shop’s front glass and isn’t affected by the overhead lighting. This is powered by a customer video wall processor capable of running all the content in 4K.

Andreas Jonsson from Inurface Media said

“This was an exciting project to get involved in. We enjoyed working under the pressure of working to a tight deadline as we had to fit in with the Body shops promotional sales period. Working with Harlequin’s and Mr President made for a great team”.
