Ocean Automotive in Poole has invested in a four-acre brownfield site at the top of Poole’s Old Wareham Road, the company has relocated into the UK’s largest Audi Terminal – indeed one of the largest in Europe. The prestigious new centre, which boasts some groundbreaking facilities for customers will change the entire customer experience be that service, parts or new and approved used sales. There are three climate controlled drop off and pick up bays that access the new centre and allow the entire service, MOT and sales experience to take place undercover. The new facilities include a gym, beauty salon and relaxing lounges with complimentary refreshments The new showroom can exhibit 24 new Audis; have three hand-over bays, two HD display configuration rooms and two MOT zones with full valet and SMART repair facilities. It has been designed with the future front of mind and it is a pioneering development that reflects the increasing expectations of Audi owners and also the pace of competition in the premium car market.

As part of the move to the new facility Ocean Automotive really wanted embrace digital in a big way, Gail Ninnim (Commercial Director) vision was to dispense with the existing wipe boards, handwritten messages & pin boards used back of house to display current sales figures, notices to staff and general updates from Audi. Using an employee communications platform from Inurface Media Audi Ocean Automotive are able to pull real-time sales figures and deliver them to multiple large format screens in the sale office, creating engaging sales leader boards and a sense of gamification between sales colleagues.
