IRX is the most important exhibition in the calendar for companies wanting to expand their retailing business. Running for two days in March it has a wide range of influential speakers from all aspects of the retail sector. IRX also has a large range of exhibitors showing off the very latest technologies and approaches to retail.
The requirements and what we did.
IRX were looking for a digital partner to assist with informing customers about events, conferences and workshop times at the expo. They also wanted the ability to pull in relevant information such as tweets and sponsor adverts. The concept behind the approach was to create a one stop screen which could keep visitors fully up to date with the expo minute by minute. A visitor should be able to view the screen and immediately know where they are in the arena, who is speaking in each conference room and up and coming events later in the day.
Inurface Media created a customer portal on 8 free standing screens stationed around the venue at key gathering places.
In order to generate awareness for sponsorship Inurface Media also installed a 2×2 55inch LG video wall, this was a large eye-catching feature which was pulling in moderated tweets relating to the shows events, exhibitors and visitors.
