Headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, and with regional offices in Amsterdam, Beirut, Brisbane, Miami, and Singapore, the SUBWAY chain was co-founded by Fred Deluca and Dr.Peter Buck in 1965.

The SUBWAY brand was ranked the number one franchise opportunity in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2007 “Annual Franchise 500®” listing -the 15th time in 20 years that the chain has achieved this honour.

What we did:

The idea behind the digital signage solution was to display and promote Subway’s dynamic product information whilst also encouraging customers to visit. We built the screen into a free standing unit as there was no wall space for the screen to be mounted on. Inurface media anticipate the digital signage solution will provide significant interactive stimulus*, driving customers to Subways Airport location whilst promoting their time sensitive product information

Inurface technology is very simple to use with clearly defined modules enabling non-technical users to easily manage a single display up to a large-scale digital signage network. You pay one all inclusive price per player per year, no servers, no hidden costs or extras and free software updates and support. The content can be changed real time from a central hosted source.

*Digital Signage attracts the attention of 98% of people. Information retention from Digital Signage is 37% higher than from traditional printed media. Why use lnurface Media? lnurface Media is a young, dynamic Bristol based company who offer a complete range of Digital Signage Solutions. We are different from a lot of companies selling digital signage as we really care about getting the perfect solution for our clients. We also cater for the whole solutions from selling hard ware and software to managing and creating the content for the network.

Commenting on the project, Ben Mapstone IT Manager at SUBWAY said:

“We had heard of lnurface Media and visited another location to look at the digital sign we thought that it looked very professional. When we heard all the sign content was managed online and was delivered over the Internet we had to see how this worked, we arranged an introduction and demo of the system and where amazed at how easy it was to configure, use and manage.

We ordered our digital sign and had it installed at our Bristol Airport location, Josh was very helpful and came to check everything was working well, they advised us through out every process and helped us design the initial layout for the sign.”
