Dave, Executive Project Manager
Dave joined the inurface team almost three years ago, in February 2018. Dave is our Executive Project Manager which involves him in several areas of the business.
Daily, Dave is responsible for system design, network & infrastructure design and CAD drawings ahead of designing and building several bespoke custom units to meet our clients’ needs. Dave is also our in-house superman when it comes to audio visual solutions, being a specialist in installing and maintaining AV systems across our projects!
In his spare time, Dave can usually be found watching some kind of sports match in the pub with a pint in hand! (Who can blame him?)
Dave’s Interview
G – “So Dave…where are you originally from?”
D – “The sunny south Coast…Portsmouth
G – …”so, if you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
D – “well that’s easy…. Metallica – One”
G – “If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?”
D – “Somewhere with Snow – all of the snow!!!!”
G – “Obviously you love your job at inurface…. but if you could do anything, what would your dream job be?
D – “hmm… to be honest, so long as it’s in emerging technologies, I’m happy! Though I did actually want to be a fighter pilot as a kid – god damm Top Gun…”
G – “Which inurface project has been your, favourite to work on and why?”
D – “Well, as a rule, the Sports Direct projects have always been fun if not challenging, however the Birmingham Children’s’ Hospital installation was one that was 3 years in the making, so finally seeing that come together and be a living, working solution was amazing to see!!”
G – “What about if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
D – “Mexican of course, but specifically, enchiladas it’s just meaty, wrappy, spicy goodness!!”
G – “Ok last one – If you had to delete all but three apps on your phone, which ones would you keep and why?”
D – “I would keep… messenger, Uber eats and Netflix”
