inurface media collaborated with Dr. Martens to transform their Carnaby Street flagship store in 2022. The project was a part of Dr. Martens’ initiative to revamp their stores, integrating both physical and digital elements (phygital). Our team installed a range of interactive displays, LED/LCD screens, and audio visual solutions throughout the store and windows. The window digital displays remain constantly active to continuously promote content and create an immersive brand experience. The refurbished store authentically reflects Dr. Martens’ heritage of self-expression and rebellion, fostering deeper connections with customers. We installed a ‘place and learn’ interactive ‘icon wall’, allowing customers to actively engage with their favourite Dr. Martens products.

Customers engage with "place and learn" technology by placing an RFID-tagged boot on a sensor, triggering a display screen of its history and features. Leveraging our past triumphs with similar technology, this setup was seamless. Collaborating with Dr. Martens led to a triumphant phygital evolution, spotlighting the brand's heritage and innovation via immersive in-store experiences.
