Sports Direct Manchester

Sports Direct have opened its five-floor Manchester flagship store, powered by our innovative AV solutions.

We are proud to have worked alongside Sports Direct on their latest flagship store in Manchester. Our goal was to create a visually stunning and immersive retail experience for customers, using a combination of AV solutions and cutting-edge technology.

With 104 individual displays, including the largest fixed indoor screen in Manchester, the store features a total of 35,841,664 LED pixels that provide an awe-inspiring visual experience. Our team collaborated with design agencies The One Off and EB Designs, as well as popular sporting and lifestyle brands such as Under Armour, Puma, Adidas, and GAME to provide an innovative mix of AV solutions.

In addition to the impressive displays, we also created and installed two interactive installations: the Jump Booth and Hang Tough. The Jump Booth uses body recognition technology to measure how high customers can jump, and then creates a slow-motion playback and leader board for customers to see and share. The Hang Tough installation challenges customers to hang as long as possible, with a display featuring a countdown timer, personal score, and leader board for all to see.

Our aim was to create a bespoke installation that would maximise the power of digital technology to deliver the ultimate customer experience.
