HMV, perhaps the UK’s most iconic music and entertainment retailer, continues to evolve its retail spaces to stay ahead in a competitive market. With stores across high streets and shopping centres, HMV wanted to modernise their storefront displays to drive foot traffic and increase visibility of promotions, new releases, and brand messaging

Strategically designed for storefronts, the large-scale totems house LED screens, ensuring high brightness even in direct sunlight or changing weather conditions.

Content Flexibility

Using built-in media players, the screens are controlled via a centralised content management system, enabling remote updates for various stores. This allows HMV to change promotional content, product highlights, or brand messaging at the touch of a button

Scalability

The digital totems were successfully trialled in a few locations before a nationwide rollout across 16 stores, from high streets to shopping centres. This scalable solution made it easy to maintain uniformity and maximise brand presence across different regions.
